MISSION STATEMENT:
It is the mission of the Professional Standards and Research Committee to develop benchmarking standards for the delivery of mobile health care services that are based on community needs. The Committee evaluates and initiates outcome based studies and research for the benefit of improved patient care, service delivery and system design. The Committee develops educational materials and position papers based upon its research and analysis of these programs for distribution and presentation to the members of the American Ambulance Association. In addition, the Committee proactively participates with other allied healthcare organizations and regulators to facilitate improved patient care and system response.
